We created this salt-free seasoning blend for our pizza-loving friends! Savory and earthy, this salt-free blend is aromatic with sun-loving herbs and spices like fennel seed and basil, pungent with onion and garlic, and carries a touch of heat from crushed red pepper flakes.
This careful balance of flavors gives homemade pizzas authentic pizzeria flavor, enhanced by the aroma—a herbal medley with peppery-bright fragrance, balanced with the deeper notes of onion and garlic.
All of our seasoning blends are blended in-house, by hand in small batches, to provide our customers with the freshest seasonings possible.

We tend to overdo pizza, loading it with strongly flavored toppings, like sausage or pepperoni. In Italy, pizza is more stripped down. It originated in Naples, and it used to be affordable food for laborers; the marinara sauce was so named because it was created by the wives of seamen—or marinaio—so their husbands could eat when they returned to port. Neapolitan pizza was a showcase for hearty flatbread, beautiful tomato sauce, fresh cheese, perhaps some anchovies, and the herbs and spices that make these simple ingredients sing. The classic pizza Margherita, created for a royal visit by Italy’s Queen Margherita to Naples in 1889. The Queen favored the simplest pizza with the most basic ingredients, that showcased local herbs made by a local restaurateur.
